SALOTTO GASTRONOMICO
I created the illustrated brand identity for Fondo – Salotto Gastronomico, a new home restaurant in Milan.
The logo blends several culinary elements connected to the concept of “fondo”: for example, the bottom of a coffee cup and the base of a cooking pot — small details that evoke both cooking and conviviality. These elements come together in a playful visual composition that also incorporates a fragmented typographic treatment of the word "fondo", making the concept itself part of the graphic language. The result is a logo that feels layered, lively, and welcoming.
THE SPACE
Fondo is conceived as an intimate gastronomic living room where people gather for cooking classes, social dinners, and shared culinary experiences.
Reflecting this dual nature, the logo can also be read as two parts: Cooking Class and Social Dinner. These elements separate and recombine visually, representing two moments of the same experience — learning and sharing — that ultimately come together as one.
THE ILLUSTRATIONS
Alongside the logo, I created a set of playful illustrations used as stickers within the brand identity. Since pasta is the main dish enjoyed in this space, the illustrations focus on different types of pasta. They are simple, fun, and informal, reinforcing the approachable and playful character of Fondo.
