Helga Aversa is an illustrator and graphic designer working in editorial, branding, packaging and live illustration.
Hi, I'm Helga Aversa — I make things with hands.
I'm a Milan-based illustrator and graphic designer working across editorial illustration, illustrated branding, packaging and live illustration. My work is built on analog techniques: paper collage and colored cardstock combined with digital methods depending on the project, and extends into three-dimensional paper installations.
My clients include Bioderma, Trainline, Superga, Dolomiti Superski, Open House Napoli, Futura (Corriere della Sera) and AIL Milano.
I studied Design at Politecnico di Milano and Illustration at Mimaster. Today, I teach graphic design at IED Milano, sharing my experience with the next generation of creatives.

HOW I WORK
My practice is rooted in handmade techniques: paper collage, papercut and colored cardstock. When a project calls for it, I also work digitally, adapting the visual language to each brief.
I work with creative teams across editorial commissions, packaging, brand campaigns and large-scale paper installations, where the making process becomes part of the experience itself.
