SALOMON RUNNING MILANO
For Salomon Running Milano, I was hired as a live illustrator at the race expo in CityLife, drawing each runner's postcard while they picked up their bib.
The colors and visual language come straight from Salomon's Gravel Running campaign: pink runner silhouette, Gravel branding, urban and minimal.
What I added live, in brown marker, was the actual person. Their name, their bib number, their hairstyle, and around them a little mix of Milan, natural bits and iconic ones, built from one simple question I asked each runner: what do you love about this city.
Drawing live is proof.
It's proof you were really there, in that race, at that exact moment, not something printed or filtered after the fact. Made in front of you, for you, and it couldn't exist any other way.
