AN ILLUSTRATED MAP OF CAPRI, CREATED FOR VILLA CERTOSA
I created an illustrated map of Capri for Villa Certosa, a luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of Capri, as a gift for its guests, to capture both faces of the island: the town of Capri, with its iconic Piazzetta and views over the Faraglioni and Anacapri, higher up and quieter, home to Villa San Michele and the sweeping views from Monte Solaro.
Beyond the landmarks, the map includes a few personal details I wanted to bring into the illustration: the hand-lettered street signs found throughout the island's alleys, the typical vegetation growing between the rocks, small traditional boats along the coast, and the most beautiful routes to explore Capri on foot.
