STRATI DI NAPOLI | Manifesto per OPEN HOUSE NAPOLI 2024
For Open House Napoli 2024 I created the poster Strati di Napoli—a layered collage that tells the story of the city through multiple perspectives brought together in a single cohesive vision.
Strati di Napoli brings together one thousand different perspectives into a single, layered vision. The city is defined by its stratification, and exploring this concept, I shaped a journey that begins underground, moves through Naples’ deep connection with the sea, and weaves through its diverse architectures and eras up to the present day of the new metro lines. All elements coexist in an ideal space, overlapping and engaging in a continuous dialogue.
THE COLLAGE
The illustration itself is built in layers and levels, using collage and colored card to create a composition that emerges from the overlapping of shapes and materials.
The visual was later adapted for maps, signage and posters, bringing the project off the page and into the streets of Naples.
